LABORATORY OF HALAL POLICY AND MANAGEMENT

Laboratory of Halal Policy and Management (LPPH), Halal Product Research Institute, UPM is one of the major research centers in the field of halal policy and management. It focuses on research activities that are associated with legal development, policy, management and marketing of halal products. Therefore, issues such as fatwa, halal slaughter, halal governance, implementation, product liability, quality and security, consumption, marketing and business development are part of the field of research focused on this laboratory. The main objective is to focus on research that impacts the improvement of halal policy and management. Also:-

1. Conduct research in key areas such as Shariah, Law, Policy, Halal Product Marketing Management.
2. Spread research findings to halal policy makers, religious authorities, halal industries, entrepreneurs and consumers.
3. Develop an Islamic Quality System (IQS) that helps facilitate the business of halal products.
