11 June 2024 - Representatives from the Halal Products Research Institute (HPRI) together with CEO@IPPH, Mrs. Hajah Megawati Suzari, Director, New Product Development, Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, Fonterra Brands Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., attended the Townhall Session of the National Halal Policy 2025-2035 (Central Zone) which was held at The Everly, Putrajaya. The National Halal Policy 2025-2035 is the country's long-term strategy to create a more holistic and conducive halal ecosystem and ensure Malaysia remains a global halal leader. In the session, several related components such as the legal and regulatory system, management of imported products and services, halal research and laboratory analysis, laws and fatwas, benefits and economic returns were discussed and various parties gave and shared their views in the discussion.
