Covid-19 has taken the entire world to another level of a global pandemic. It has given a significant impact on several sectors such as economic and agricultural sector that was the main resources for our society. Therefore, the Laboratory of Policy and Halal Management has organized Webinar 2.0 Forum on Halalan Toyyiban From Agricultural Perspective: Impact on Covid-19 And Way Forward. This webinar was held on 9th September 2020, from 10 am until 12 afternoons.

Through this webinar, a panel was discussed regarding updated perspective in all direction on the pandemic’s impact on agriculture and halal industry, action to be taken by the industries, organization and government and questions to push our thinking further. The panelists are Dr. Zul Edham Wagiman (Director, Department of Veterinary Services), Mr. Mohamad Hafidz (Managing Director, Afta Benefigs Sdn. Bhd) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rika Terano (Lecturer, Tokyo University of Agriculture, Japan. A total of 75 participants from abroad and within the country participated in this Webinar.
