We are pleased to inform you that the Laboratory of Halal Science Research and Halal Services Laboratory, Halal Products Research Institute, Universiti Putra Malaysia in collaboration with ScienceVision Sdn Bhd and BioEasy Sdn Bhd, will be organizing ‘Species Profiling in Food Products through Next Generation Sequencing Technology Webinar’ on Dec 2021.
DNA-based method development for species detection has been quite established. While qPCR multiplexing approaches have been always adopted, PCR coupled with emerging NGS technology appear to enhance the information being obtained from the samples under study. In a single PCR run, followed by NGS, profiling of up to thousand animal species in a single reaction has been made possible.
