LABORATORY OF HALAL SCIENCE RESEARCH (LAPSAH)

Laboratory of Halal Science Research plays important roles in conducting research and development of new techniques which are rapid and accurate to ensure the authentication and safety of halal products. The techniques that have been developed in the laboratory are chromatography, molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, chemical and physical analysis which in the area of involved the applications of various instruments such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography–Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID), Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), electrophoresis, 4-Dimensional Gas Chromatography Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer (GC-TOF-MS), Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) and Electronic Nose (E-Nose).
