FELDA Sungai Tengi Selatan, Kuala Kubu Bharu, 6 August – A total of 6 officers from Halal Policy and Management Laboratory had visited Afta Benefigs figs plantation. This visit aiming to fulfil the invitation from Afta Benefigs. It is as well to encourage the cooperation with parties from the agricultural industry to develop organic standard operating procedures in Malaysia. The arrival of officers to the farm was warmly welcomed by the farm workers. Mr. Hafidz who is the owner of this farm also had joined the visit. This visit has given exposure to the officers about organic farm management methods conducted at Afta Benefigs. This visit also created one of the new forms of cooperation network between IPPH and Afta Benefigs.
