The Halal Product Research Institute (IPPH) in collaboration with the Konsortium Institut Halal IPTA Malaysia (KIHIM) organized the Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) and Chemometrics on October 1-3, 2019. The workshop was held for three days at the IPPH Room Seminar and GCMS Room with 12 participants  for GCMS Workshop and 18 for Chemometrics Participants. All participants were UPM students & staff, MARDI staff and UNIMAP students. The objective of the workshop was to expose the participants to the GCMS tool application, determine the correct technique for using the tool as well as the technique for data analysis. At the end of the workshop, all participants were very pleased with the comprehensive travel and sharing workshops of three speakers, Dr Muhamad Shirwan Abdullah Sani, Dr Mohd Hafis Yuswan Mohd Yusoff and Dr Yanty Noorzianna Abdul Manaf
